Internet Festival in Ky Son District
(Baonghean.vn) -From July 29th to August 2nd, 2013, in Ky Son district, the Nghe An Department of Information and Communications, in coordination with the District Culture Department, the Youth Union, and the Women's Union, organized the Internet Festival at three locations: the Ta Ca Commune Cultural Post Office, Huu Lap Commune Post Office, and the Ky Son District Library.
The event aimed to introduce and promote to a wide range of people in the district the pilot project on services provided by libraries and cultural post offices, especially computer services and internet access at locations included in the project plan. This project, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (USA), aims to improve computer literacy and public internet access in disadvantaged areas of Vietnam.

People in Ky Son are becoming familiar with computers and internet skills.
By participating in the Internet Festival, people in Ky Son will become familiar with basic computer knowledge and skills in using and searching for information on the Internet to serve their daily lives and production, aiming to find ways to alleviate poverty... In addition, local people can also participate in quizzes about technology, landmarks, ethnic groups, and computer skills competitions with prizes such as computer word processing, creating email accounts, and quickly searching for information on the internet.
