(Baonghean.vn) - In recent days, Mong ethnic people in Pha Lom village, Tam Hop border commune, Tuong Duong have actively contributed labor and money to concretize the internal village roads.

Pha Lom is the farthest village of Tam Hop border commune. This is the place where Mong ethnic people live. Currently, the whole village has 105 households, with 685 people. People here mainly live on farming and raising animals, life is difficult. However, when there was a policy to build a road, everyone in the village agreed to respond. |

To help the villagers complete the work on schedule, officials from the Commune People's Committee, Border Guards, teachers, etc. joined in from early morning. According to records, about 200 people participated in road construction. |

All cement is provided by the State, and the villagers themselves dig sand from the streams. Because the sand has to be collected far away, after gathering, the villagers hire a truck to transport it. All of this money is contributed by the people themselves. Mr. Le Hong Thai - Secretary of the Party Committee of Tam Hop commune said: "With the motto of the State and the people working together, in the past time, the people of Pha Lom village responded enthusiastically to this policy. In 2018, the people of Pha Lom village contributed nearly 1,000 working days to build more than 500m of concrete road. This time, Pha Lom continued to build three more routes with a length of nearly 300m, in about 2-3 days. By the end of the 4th quarter, all the roads within the village will be concreted." |
