Cultural and Sports Festival of Ethnic Groups in Con Cuong District
(Baonghean.vn)- More than 400 athletes and mass actors eagerly participated in the 25th Cultural and Sports Festival of Ethnic Groups in Con Cuong District. This is a traditional activity, of great significance in preserving and promoting cultural identity.
Attending the 25th Ethnic Culture and Sports Festival were representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports, leaders of Con Cuong district and more than 400 athletes from 35 delegations from communes, towns and agencies and units in the area. |
Practically celebrating the 71st anniversary of the traditional day of the physical education and sports sector (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2017) and improving people's health, strengthening the solidarity of ethnic groups, contributing to preserving and promoting cultural identity, on March 24, 2017, Con Cuong district organized the opening ceremony of the 25th Cultural and Sports Festival of Ethnic Groups.

The program of the Cultural Festival of Ethnic Groups in Con Cuong district was quite rich, including activities: Mass art performances, ethnic costume contest and sports competitions (including: volleyball, throwing con, pushing stick, crossbow shooting, tug of war, badminton and table tennis).

Immediately after the opening ceremony is the cross-country run of the athletes, followed by a mass art performance and sports competitions.
The 25th Con Cuong Ethnic Culture and Sports Festival is expected to end on March 26.
