Mr. Kha Van Thuong - Village Chief said: "Xoong Con has 216 households with more than 900 people. Most of the households have fields on the other side of the stream, so every time there is a flood, it is very difficult to travel. Therefore, this time we mobilized each household to contribute 100,000 VND, carry stones to build a very strong bridge for traffic". The difficult terrain made transporting stones to build the bridge very difficult. Dozens of people had to stand precariously on the monkey bridge to move each stone. Photo: Dao Tho |
