Vietnam Book Day - World Book and Copyright Day

On the afternoon of April 18, Nguyen Thuc Hao Information Center - Library - Vinh University organized "Vietnam Book Day - World Book and Copyright Day" 2019.

This is the 6th time Vinh University has organized this practical and meaningful activity to gradually form the habit of reading, creating an important foundation for self-study and lifelong learning, contributing to improving the quality of training and scientific research, meeting the requirements of innovation and integration.

Book Day is also a part of the project to develop reading culture in the community deployed by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Writer Nguyen The Quang donated books to Nguyen Thuc Hao Library. He is the author of works such as "Nguyen Du", "Songs of the Rivers", "Thong reo ngan hong", "Bach Ma Tuong Quan". The main goal is to build and develop a reading movement among cadres, teachers, students, especially students in remote areas, to help foster a love of books, form a habit of reading every day, and contribute to the development of Vietnamese personality.

Strive that by 2020, 90% of students will have the knowledge and skills to receive and use information and knowledge through reading to serve their study, research and entertainment.

According to the plan, Vietnam Book Day - World Book and Copyright Day of Vinh University was organized with many activities such as introducing the books "Secrets to Student Success", "Pedagogical Method Handbook", exchanging with writer Nguyen The Quang - author whose works won awards from the Vietnam Writers Association, and discussing the theme of Vietnam Book Day.
