Spring Day in Huoi Vieng Village

(Baonghean.vn) - During a business trip to the highlands of Dooc May commune, Ky Son district (Nghe An), we had the chance to celebrate Tet with the Mong people of Huoi Vieng village, Dooc May commune.

Under the cold weather of the border region, Mong boys and girls in colorful traditional costumes happily welcomed the spring. With the attention of the Party and State, all levels and sectors, the lives of ethnic minorities in general and Mong people in Huoi Vieng village in particular have gradually improved. Welcoming the traditional New Year of the Mong people in Huoi Vieng, beside the people are always the Border Guard soldiers - those who are day and night firmly holding their guns, protecting the peace of the Fatherland's border, helping people develop the economy, culture, society, and maintaining the title of Huoi Vieng cultural village in the highland border region.
