Nghe An: 16 ships 67 have been launched

(Baonghean.vn) - Up to now, commercial banks in Nghe An have disbursed 117/197 billion VND for fishermen to borrow capital to build fishing boats according to Decree 67/CP, of which 16 boats have been launched.

Ship 67 of Mr. Pham Ngoc Son, Tien Thuy commune, Quynh Luu was launched in June 2015.

Implementing Decree 67/CP, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has approved 101 ship owners to register for loans to build ships. Of these, 31 are iron-hulled ships, 65 are wooden-hulled ships, and 5 are ships made of new materials. To date, commercial banks in the province have approved loans and built 32 new ships, of which 25 ship owners have signed credit contracts, with loans disbursed at 117/197 billion VND.

Thanks to that, up to now, 16 ships have been launched and put into operation, including 1 iron-hulled ship, an increase of 7 ships compared to the beginning of 2016. According to the plan of the Provincial People's Committee, by the end of 2016, a total of 76 ship owners will have signed credit contracts to borrow capital to build ships according to Decree 67/CP.
