287 cases were punished

Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Public Security issued Plan No. 513/KH-BCA-C07 on a general review and inspection of fire prevention, fighting (PCCC) and rescue (CNCH) safety nationwide. After more than 2 months of implementation, Nghe An Provincial Police issued plans to direct police units and localities to concentrate forces to organize synchronous and drastic solutions.

Accordingly, with the determination of the entire political system, along with timely, drastic and effective measures to implement the peak period, Nghe An Provincial Police have completed the general review and safety inspection.Fire prevention and rescuein the area on December 5, 2022, 10 days ahead of schedule compared to the deadline set by the Ministry of Public Security.

The total number of establishments subject to State management of fire prevention and fighting according to Decree No. 136/2020/ND-CP in Nghe An province is 28,362 establishments. Accordingly, 28,625/28,362 establishments have been inspected (reaching a rate of 101%).

Of which, 287 cases were fined (330 violations, including 33 violations in construction investment work, 297 violations during operation), with a total amount of 3,022,250,000 VND.

Suspended 5 cases, including 3 karaoke and bar establishments; Temporarily suspended 206 cases, including 45 bars and dance clubs, for failing to ensure fire safety. 2,544 establishments voluntarily stopped operations because they did not meet fire prevention and rescue conditions.

In addition, Nghe An Police has promoted propaganda and provided extensive and direct guidance on fire prevention and fighting and rescue knowledge and skills to the people through many forms. Specifically, 511 propaganda sessions were organized across the province with the participation of 39,342 people. In addition, 137 inter-family fire safety teams were established in the area and 531 public fire fighting points were built.

Concluding the conference, Major General Nguyen Van Long - Deputy Minister of Public Security acknowledged that the Public Security of 63 localities had proactively advised the People's Committees at the same level to issue many documents to implement fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue work in accordance with the spirit of the Prime Minister as well as the Ministry of Public Security.

Many localities have had good models and methods suitable to local conditions, while improving the effectiveness of fire prevention and rescue work. Typical examples include: Son La, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Phu Tho, Khanh Hoa,...

Thanks to the active propaganda and determination of the entire political system, the awareness, consciousness and responsibility for fire prevention and fighting of heads of establishments, heads of households, heads of production and business households and people have many positive changes.

Seriously carry out the work of grasping the situation, conducting basic investigations, ensuring that 100% of facilities under fire prevention and fighting management have management records established according to regulations; identify and make a list of key areas, regions, and facilities that can cause especially serious consequences when fires and explosions occur in residential areas.

Continue to strengthen propaganda and provide extensive and direct guidance on knowledge and skills on fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue to people through various forms, easy-to-understand content and appropriate for each target group. Along with that, conduct fire safety inspections for 100% of households, houses combining production, business and facilities under decentralized management in residential areas.
