Nghe An: 23 prisoners have their prison sentences reduced

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 28, Nghe An Provincial Police Detention Center held a ceremony to announce the decision to reduce prison sentences on the occasion of April 30 for 23 prisoners who had performed well during their sentences.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department awarded the decision to reduce the prison term for 8 prisoners who have performed well in labor.

Of the 23 prisoners whose sentences were reduced this time, 8 had their entire terms reduced, and 15 had their sentences reduced by 2 to 5 months. These prisoners all had good rehabilitation records and strictly followed discipline, rules, and regulations during their sentence.

At the ceremony, the provincial police leaders handed over the decision to reduce the prison term of 8 prisoners. The provincial police detention center completed the procedures for them to soon reunite with their families and relatives.
