Nghe An: 25 contestants compete in the 2019 Excellent Tour Guide Contest
(Baonghean.vn) - The contestant who wins first prize in the 2019 Excellent Tour Guide Contest will receive a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee Chairman, along with a prize of 3 million VND.

This morning (November 23), the Department of Tourism organized the 2019 Excellent Tour Guide Contest. Participating in the contest were 25 tour guides from the Nghe An Tour Guide Association and travel companies in the area.
In recent years, Nghe An tourism has had encouraging developments, reaping many good results. In that success, tour guides in the province have contributed significantly. They are the ones who directly introduce to tourists the beauty of the country, people and the cultural and historical values of the locality.

The contest, in addition to honoring the profession and professional tour guides, is also an opportunity for tour guides to affirm and demonstrate their talents and abilities, learn to improve their knowledge, and exchange professional experiences.
The contest is also a valuable practical experience for local tour guides to enter the upcoming star upgrade contest of the Vietnam Tour Guide Association.

The contest takes place over 2 days from November 23-24, 2019 with 2 rounds. The preliminary round with the form of knowledge test will select 15 contestants with the highest scores to enter the final round of skills test (explaining tourist attractions; answering questions, handling situations and aptitude test).
