(Baonghean.vn)- Up to this point, all the exams of the National High School Exam have been completed. Statistics at exam cluster 28 of Nghe An show that 58 candidates dropped out of the exam and 3 candidates were suspended from the exam. There were no unusual incidents during the exam.

This morning, about 19,000 candidates of Nghe An entered the final exam of the 2017 National High School Exam – the Social Sciences subject group. This is the first time candidates took the Social Sciences subject group (History - Geography - Civic Education) in the form of objective multiple choice tests. The Civic Education subject was included in the National High School Exam for the first time.

Although the exam is in the form of multiple choice, because these are social science subjects, before the exam, at the exam sites, document checking is carried out seriously.

However, violations still occurred at the Le Viet Thuat High School exam site when candidates brought cell phones into the exam room without permission and were ticketed.

At the Kim Lien High School exam site, after the History and Geography exams, candidate Pham Van Dung from Nam Kim Commune, Nam Dan (Nam Dan 2 High School) was the first independent candidate to leave the exam room. Dung is currently studying at the University of Technical Education 3, but he still wants to retake the exam to register for the university he is dreaming of, the University of Agriculture.

Because he had time to review thoroughly, Dung was able to do more than 70% of the test. According to Dung: the History test was basic and followed the curriculum. However, doing 40 history questions in 50 minutes was a bit difficult because many questions required a lot of thinking. Some questions, in order to finish on time, Dung had to "rush to do".

Regarding Geography, candidate Vo Thi Hai - Mai Hac De High School said: Compared to the sample exams, the Geography exam is easier, in which nearly 40% of the questions can use Atlas, so for candidates taking the exam for graduation, it is easy to get an average score.

This year, the Ministry of Education and Training also followed the policy, which is that the questions are completely in the textbook, without many questions related to reality like in previous years. In case there are any, you can use Atlas to answer.

At the exam site of Dang Thuc Hua High School (Thanh Chuong), candidate Dinh Thi Dieu Linh (class 12C5 - Nguyen Sy Sach High School) also did quite well in the Geography exam because she thought that "the structure of the exam was balanced in each part, basic, and closely followed the program".

However, from question 40 onwards, the classification questions are quite difficult, requiring candidates to have broad knowledge and a certain understanding, for example: which season is the heaviest rain in Hanoi, why is the salt making industry in the South Central region developing strongly?

Regarding History, candidate Nguyen Thi Loc (12C2 - Dang Thai Mai High School) said: Multiple choice test in history is appropriate, but this year's test is a bit difficult compared to the general level, and non-specialized students, no matter how hard they try, can only get 5 points.

As for Civic Education, because this is a conditional subject, candidates do not spend much time studying. However, most candidates said it was easy, and all the knowledge was related to real life to do the test.

At Anh Son 1 High School exam site, candidate Dinh Thi Ngoc Anh (Tuong Son commune - Anh Son) said: "The most difficult exam this year was History. This is not my major subject, so I find it very difficult, the possibility of getting a high score is very low."

Sharing the same opinion with Ngoc Anh, contestant Nguyen Thi Quynh An also said: “Of the 3 subjects, History is the most difficult. Even though this is my major, I still finished vaguely. Geography is easier, so I did very well on the Geography test.”

At the exam site of Tuong Duong 1 High School, candidate Vy Thi Chung (Tuong Duong 2 High School) said: The Geography and Civic Education tests were within the students' ability and she herself did 70%. However, she did a bit "poorly" in History because the test was long, had a wide range of knowledge and many difficult questions.

Tran Van Duy also said: I did quite well, the test had many questions from the textbook. I only took the test to graduate so I was satisfied with about 60% of the questions I answered. I guessed the rest of the questions randomly in the hope of getting some extra points.

In Vinh City, at the Le Viet Thuat High School exam site, the Civic Education exam was rated as easy by all candidates. All the questions were in the curriculum. In particular, most of the questions were related to reality, so even without studying for the exam, many candidates could still relate to it to do the test.

As for the History exam, although many candidates were very interested in the multiple choice format, they thought the exam was difficult and long, with many tricky questions. Candidate Nguyen Vo Mai Trinh - Hermann Gmeiner School said: The History exam covered all chapters, focusing mainly on Vietnamese History. As for the classification questions, many questions had similar answers, causing the candidates to be "confused".

Thus, up to this point, all the subjects of the National High School Exam have been completed. Statistics at the 28th exam cluster of Nghe An show that 58 candidates dropped out of the exam and 3 candidates were suspended from the exam. There were no unusual incidents during the exam.
