(Baonghean.vn) - In the first 4 months of 2017, export activities in Nghe An have improved, with total export turnover reaching 176 million USD, an increase of more than 26% over the same period in 2016.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Nghe An, in the first 4 months of 2017, the total export turnover in the area reached 261 million USD. In particular, the province's export activities had many shipments, the export turnover of goods was estimated at 176 million USD, an increase of 26% over the same period.

Of which, the processing industry group reached 120 million USD. Wood chips continued to rise to the top position with 313,000 tons worth 43 million USD, textiles 36 million USD, electronic components 18 million USD.
The representative of the Department of Industry and Trade said: Textiles and garments are still identified as the province's main export products with export turnover increasing quite sustainably and stably in the coming years. The products are exported to many markets such as: Korea, China, Japan, USA, Germany, etc.
In addition, the agricultural, forestry and aquatic products group reached nearly 50,000 tons, with a turnover of 33 million USD (fruits 21.4 million USD, cassava starch 4 million USD, tea 3.1 million USD...). The fuel and mineral group 20.1 million USD.
