Nghe An: Export turnover of goods expected to increase by 14% in 6 months
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the Department of Industry and Trade, in the first 6 months of 2019, the total export turnover in the area is estimated at 564 million USD, an increase of 11.24% over the same period in 2018; of which the export turnover of goods is 397 million USD, estimated at 51% of the plan, an increase of 14%.

The export market has grown from 74 countries and territories in 2016 to 122 countries and territories. The main export markets are China, accounting for over 48.7% of the total export turnover of the province, South Korea for 11.9%, the United States for over 8%, India for over 3.6%, Japan for over 3.4%, Laos for over 2.8%;...
Many exported products have entered demanding markets with high standards such as Japan, the US, Germany, etc.
It is expected that the plan target will be completed in 2019 and by 2020 the resolution target of 1,200 million USD will be achieved (of which goods export will reach 1,000 million USD/target of 900 - 1,000 million USD). Export turnover has a fairly good growth rate but is not stable, depending on the source of goods from other provinces, the types of goods, processed products with high value are few, mainly primary products. In particular, the turnover of some traditional export products of the province such as peanuts, processed livestock products... is decreasing.
