According to the assessment, although vocational training did not meet the set plan in terms of quantity due to many reasons, the trained workers basically met the requirements of restructuring the agricultural sector; through vocational training, many effective production models were built and replicated. The implementation of trained occupations met the actual needs in the area.

However, vocational training still has some limitations. The structure of training occupations is not diverse; there is no connection between businesses and training facilities; output products lack a consumer market...
In the period of 2019 - 2020, Nghe An strives to recruit rural vocational training to ensure the set plan of 11,515 workers. After training, at least 80 - 85% of vocational trainees will have new jobs, or continue to work in their old jobs but with higher productivity and income, contributing to bringing the rate of trained rural workers in the whole province to 35%.

The proposed solutions include: Strengthening leadership, direction, inspection and supervision of all levels and sectors; developing plans and innovating investigation work, understanding needs to determine the list and subjects needing training as well as determining the demand for labor through vocational training of enterprises and the labor market; promoting propaganda, vocational training and post-vocational employment counseling to improve the effectiveness of vocational training; at the same time, closely linking vocational training with the plans and production development goals of localities.
