Nghe An: Abolishing the policy of giving priority points in civil service exams

(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 5773/QD-UBND dated November 29, 2017 amending the regulations on civil servant recruitment exams for state administrative agencies of the province.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Nghe An province decided:

1.Abolish the policy of giving priority points in civil servant recruitment exams as prescribed in Article 1, Decision No. 96/QD-UBND dated January 9, 2015 of the Provincial People's Committee on amending and supplementing the Regulations on civil servant recruitment exams for state management agencies of Nghe An province.

2.Amending the regulations on re-examination in Clause 3, Article 38, Regulations attached to Decision No. 1171/QD-UBND dated April 13, 2011 of the Provincial People's Committee on promulgating the Regulations on civil servant examinations for state management agencies of Nghe An province. Clause 3, Article 38 is rewritten as follows:

3.The President of the Examination Council decides to establish a Review Board, excluding members who have participated in the Examination Board; the review results are included in the examination results, the President of the Examination Council reports to the head of the competent authority for civil servant recruitment for consideration and notifies the review results to the person requesting the review within the time limit specified in Clause 2 of this Article. Then, within 15 days from the date of notification of the review results, the head of the competent authority for civil servant recruitment must submit the exam results to the head of the civil servant management agency for approval.

Decision No. 5773/QD-UBND takes effect from November 29, 2017. Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Heads of departments, branches and sectors; Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, cities and towns and relevant individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision.
