(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 31, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Head of the Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 41/CĐ-UBND on urgently addressing the consequences caused by Typhoon No. 9 and floods.

To remedy the consequencesrain and floodsThe Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue (PCTT - TKCN) requests the Chairmen of the People's Committees - Heads of the PCTT - TKCN Steering Committees of districts, cities, and towns; the Provincial Military Command; the Provincial Border Guard Command; the Provincial Police; the Directors of provincial departments, heads of provincial agencies and related units to implement a number of specific tasks.
People are strictly prohibited from collecting firewood or fishing in rivers and streams during heavy rains and floods to avoid loss of life.
Authorities need to arrange for food and essential supplies to ensure that people affected by the floods do not suffer from hunger or cold and can quickly stabilize their lives.
Security forces are responsible for ensuring safety, maintaining public order, and protecting people's property after the floods.

Immediately implement environmental protection measures, disinfect, sterilize, and treat water to ensure safe drinking water in flooded areas, and guide people on environmental hygiene and disease prevention for humans and livestock;
Ensure traffic safety; mobilize machinery and equipment to address landslides and traffic congestion; coordinate with the police force to guide and reroute traffic, ensuring safety and smooth flow.
Regularly report the results of damage remediation efforts caused by rain and floods to the Provincial People's Committee (through the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue) for timely action./.
