Nghe An: Border Guard rescues 3 girls who were tricked and sold to China.

(Baonghean.vn)- On May 13, Thong Thu Border Post (Nghe An Border Guard) organized the handover of 3 girls who were rescued after many days of being tricked and sold to China back to their families.

Previously, on May 6, 2016, the Drug and Crime Prevention Department of Nghe An Border Guard, Thong Thu Border Guard Station coordinated with Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard to successfully rescue 3 girls LTH, LTT and HTC, all residing in Loc village, Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district - victims who were tricked and sold to China.

According to the case file, on April 18, 2016, two women came to Loc village, Thong Thu commune, to trick three girls LTH, LTT and HTC into going to China to work with an income of 5 million VND/month, with the subjects taking care of travel expenses.

Because of their gullibility, the three girls went with two women to Mong Cai and crossed the border to China. After crossing the border, they forced the three victims to marry local men, but all three women refused. The subjects asked the victims to call their families to give them a ransom, 40 million VND each, to return to Vietnam.

Knowing that their relatives had been deceived, the victims’ families reported to the Border Guard force. Immediately, the Drug and Crime Prevention Department, Thong Thu Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) coordinated with the Border Guard force of Quang Ninh province to promptly rescue the victims and return them to their families.

The Border Guard also encouraged the victims to stabilize their lives soon and raise vigilance against the plots of bad guys.
