(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 16, despite many warnings about storm number 4 on the media, many tourists still ignored the danger and went swimming in the heavy rain.

At the request of the Provincial Border Guard Command, to ensure the safety of fishermen and boats, the Chairman of the People's Committee - Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue requests the Chairman of the People's Committee - Head of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of the districts of Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc, Cua Lo town, Hoang Mai town; the Provincial Military Command; the Provincial Border Guard Command; the Department of Fisheries and related units to urgently implement the following contents:
1. All ships and means of transport are prohibited from going to sea from10:00 a.m. August 16, 2018Ships operating at sea must return to shore and anchor to ensure safety first.15:00 August 16, 2018.
2. Use all means and measures to inform ships at sea of the storm's developments, guide and call on ships to return to safe shelters or escape from dangerous areas. Provide guidance on anchoring ships at shelters (including tourist boats and transport ships); organize the relocation and anchoring of aquaculture cages and floating houses to ensure safety.
Nghe An currently has 3,868 vehicles/18,189 workers directly fishing at sea. Currently, localities and authorities are calling on boats to come ashore to anchor and take shelter safely.
Previously, on the evening of August 15, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Nghe An province also issued an urgent dispatch, requesting localities, agencies, units and people to proactively respond to storm No. 4.
