Nghe An needs to build core agricultural raw material areas, apply high technology, protect the landscape, and link with surrounding farmers' production areas. Enterprises play a leading role, combining with the strength of the people to create a strong production relationship. At the same time, invest in deep processing factories, modern technology, synthetic products, located in the middle as the nucleus for specialized agricultural areas, connecting farmers with processing and enterprises to link production with the market.

There is a closed value chain solution, bringing products from production to market, into the retail chain and to the final consumer to create large surplus value, create brand reputation, create linkages to establish a stable commodity market.

Restricting mineral and resource exploitation projects

"We really hope that the Central and local governments will focus on planning production areas, industries and fields that are suitable to local conditions, advantages and capacities, avoiding overlap and waste" - Dr. Dang Kim Son expressed at the workshop.

Dr. Kim Son also hopes that the government will play the role of a midwife and bridge to connect businesses and farmers, cooperatives; listen to and reconcile problems arising in production and business. At the same time, encourage with specific policies large-scale, high-tech projects to promote the potential and strengths of the locality, in which priority is given to projects serving people's livelihoods, agricultural, forestry and fishery production, processing and tourism; limit projects exploiting natural resources and minerals.

Localities also need to create conditions for businesses to access reasonable public land funds and enjoy preferential policies from the state to build nurseries, seed gardens, seed farms, and science and technology introduction gardens. Especially for production forest land, there needs to be flexible and creative solutions so that businesses have the conditions to produce medicinal herbs under the forest canopy, develop eco-tourism, and organize agroforestry...
