Nghe An: Only 16.4% of businesses have built brands.
(Baonghean) - Building a strong brand will bring high competitiveness, create prestige and added value for businesses. However, due to many reasons, most businesses in Nghe An are still weak in building strong brands.

According to a survey by the Department of Industry and Trade, the number of businesses in Nghe An currently operating and registered for industrial property rights protection is still very low. Most businesses lack a strategy for investing in this area, resulting in Nghe An's products losing out even in the domestic market, let alone competing in the export market.
Statistics show that the province currently has 811 protected objects, including 636 trademarks, 53 designs, 7 utility models, and 10 inventions. However, the registration of industrial property rights is still too low compared to the province's economic activity; the rate of applications for industrial property protection certificates in Nghe An is very low compared to the whole country, only 0.46%.
Recently, representatives from the Nghe An Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) conducted a survey on the needs of businesses in the area regarding the registration of industrial property rights. The results showed that only 16.4% of businesses had registered trademarks, 4.9% said they were in the process of learning about it, 50.4% had not registered any products or services, and 11.7% responded that they had no need, were not interested, or had no intention of registering...
