(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Official Dispatch No. 3276 dated May 10, 2022, directing to ensure supply and stabilize the gasoline market in the province.
Accordingly, implementing the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh in Official Dispatch No. 2327/VPCP-KTTH dated April 14, 2022 of the Government Office on the proposal of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to seriously implement the following contents:
Department of Industry and Trade:Preside over and coordinate with the Market Management Department, People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to continue to strictly implement the instructions in Official Dispatch No. 1804/UBND-KT dated March 21, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee on strengthening inspection and supervision of activities.Petroleum business.Continue to proactively coordinate with relevant units, localities and enterprises to monitor and grasp information on the petroleum supply market in the area and region; Synthesize, promptly report and advise the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Industry and Trade according to regulations.
The Department of Industry and Trade directs key traders and petroleum distributors in the area to proactively exploit petroleum supply sources, implement plans to import additional petroleum according to the total source allocation and the assigned import limit to ensure adequate supply of petroleum to the market when the supply from domestic production cannot meet the planned supply; Share supply sources, adjust discounts reasonably to ensure uninterrupted petroleum supply to the market; maintain sales activities at petroleum retail stores in the enterprise's distribution system.

Market Management Department:Coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade to continue to strictly implement the instructions in Official Dispatch No. 1804/UBND-KT dated March 21, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee on strengthening inspection and supervision of petroleum business activities. Strengthen local management, deploy professional measures, coordinate with functional forces to conduct inspection and closely supervise petroleum business units (key traders, distributors, general agents, agents, petroleum retail stores) to promptly detect and strictly handle acts of hoarding, creating scarcity of petroleum supply, stopping supply, retailing petroleum that does not comply with regulations and other related violations and not affecting the operations of petroleum business units.
