The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has just issued Official Dispatch No. 5192-CV/TU dated November 13, 2019 requesting the Provincial Party Committee's Party Building Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, the Party Executive Committee, the Party Delegation, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations at the provincial, district, city and affiliated Party Committee levels to focus on directing the final handling of economic and corruption cases that are of public interest and are being unfinished.
Typical examples include: The case of violations in compensation and site clearance for the construction project of Truong Son residential area in Vinh city; The case of "property embezzlement" occurred at Nghi Van Secondary School (Nghi Loc); The case of "Abusing position in performing official duties" occurred at the Yen Thanh District Protective Forest Management Board; The case of "Abusing position in performing official duties" occurred at the Bac Nghe An Protective Forest Management Board, Quynh Luu District... to create a stronger and more synchronous change in the work of preventing and combating corruption in the whole province.

The Provincial Party Committee requested relevant departments and branches to direct the implementation of strict handling of cadres and civil servants who harass, extort, and cause trouble for people and businesses in the process of handling administrative procedures; effectively prevent the abuse of positions and powers in performing duties and public services for personal gain. Leaders organize extensive political activities in agencies with the function of preventing and combating corruption (Internal affairs, inspection, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments) to further enhance the enthusiasm, responsibility, and integrity of cadres, party members, civil servants, and employees in these agencies.
The official dispatch of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that "Corruption must be fought first and foremost within anti-corruption agencies", thus requiring strengthening inspection and supervision of the activities of agencies and units with anti-corruption functions; strictly handling negative and corrupt acts during the process of inspection, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments; promptly replacing officials who lack moral qualities...

The Provincial Party Committee also requested to continue to promote and improve the effectiveness of information, propaganda, dissemination and education on corruption prevention and control; further promote the role of the Fatherland Front at all levels, member organizations, the press and people in the fight against corruption; research and propose policies and orientations on corruption prevention and control to serve the development of draft documents for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term and the draft documents of the 13th National Party Congress.
