Nghe An: Designated bidding for 571/990 bidding packages

(Baonghean.vn) - According to information from the Department of Planning and Investment, in 2016 Nghe An organized and approved the results of contractor selection for 990 packages.

The selected bidding packages include consulting, non-consulting, goods procurement and construction items of 793 investment projects of groups A, B, C and the Economic - Technical Report on construction works, including 571 designated bidding packages, 221 open bidding packages, and 3 restricted bidding packages.

The remaining number is competitive bidding with 187 packages. The total value of 990 packages is 3,854,902 billion VND, of which the winning price is 3,825,140 billion VND, saving rate of 0.77%.

Also according to the report, in 2016, 2 inspections and audits were conducted on bidding work with 39 investors and project management boards, with the results: 9 decisions on administrative sanctions were issued; Total administrative sanctions amounted to 21 million VND.

Total amount of administrative fines paid is 21 million VND.

The main violations discovered through inspection include: Compliance with the law on posting information on contractor selection plans after approval by competent authorities.

Some problems in bidding still occur such as: Slow implementation of bidding organization, slowing down the progress of investment project implementation and disbursement of construction investment capital.
