(Baonghean.vn) - The Department of Finance has just reported on the budget revenue and expenditure situation in the area.

The report of the Department of Finance said: Of the 2018 expenditure (VND 24,764.63 billion), development investment expenditure is estimated at VND 6,265.3 billion, reaching 106.8% of the estimate; Regular expenditure is estimated at VND 18,136.9 billion, reaching 103.5% of the estimate; Expenditure from reserve funds is estimated at VND 359.5 billion, reaching 92.3% of the estimate.

Local budget expenditures in 2018 increased mainly due to the Central Government supplementing funding to implement policies, increasing basic salary levels according to Decree No. 72/2018/ND-CP dated May 5, 2018, increasing capital construction expenditures from the Central Government's support to overcome storms, floods, natural disasters, etc.

Specifically, some additional expenditures in 2018 include: Funds to overcome damage caused by storm No. 2, storm No. 10 and flash floods in 2017, amounting to 274 billion VND; Funds to compensate for exemption from irrigation fees in 2018, amounting to 251 billion VND; Funds to restore production in areas damaged by natural disasters and epidemics in 2015 and 2016, amounting to 261 billion VND; Funds to support seafood exploitation in offshore areas according to Decision No. 48/2010/QD-TTg dated July 13, 2010 of the Prime Minister, amounting to 36 billion VND.

In addition, the province also spent nearly 300 billion VND to invest in VSIP and Hemajai projects, site clearance costs for key projects in the province, and costs for purchasing and transporting cement for new rural construction...

Meanwhile, as of December 20, the 2018 budget revenue is estimated at VND 13,141.6 billion, reaching 103.6% of the estimate and increasing by 3.1% compared to 2017; of which, domestic revenue is VND 11,441.6 billion, reaching 100.1% of the estimate, increasing by 2.1% compared to the same period in 2017; Excluding land use fee revenue, domestic revenue is VND 8,891.6 billion, reaching 94.3% of the estimate and increasing by 5.4% compared to the same period in 2017.

Revenue from import-export activities is estimated at 1,500 billion VND, reaching 134.9% of the estimate, up 10.6% over the same period in 2017.
