Nghe An officially announced the third exam subject for grade 10.
This year's 10th grade entrance exam in Nghe An will be held with 3 subjects.
Nghe An Department of Education and Training has just announced the exam subjects, exam formats and exam time for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year.
Pursuant to the Regulations on junior high school and high school admissions issued together with Circular No. 30/2024/TT-BGDDT dated December 30, 2024 of the Minister of Education and Training, the Entrance Exam forgrade 10The 2025-2026 high school exam in Nghe An will be conducted with 3 subjects including Literature, Math and Foreign Language (English and French).

In which, Literature and Math will be tested in essay form, test time 120 minutes.
Foreign Language test will be in the form of multiple choice objective test, test time 60 minutes.
Thus, up to this point, Nghe An is one of the first provinces to announce a third exam subject for grade 10.
Because 2025 is the first year that students will graduate from the new General Education Program, the Ministry of Education and Training has issued new, unified nationwide junior high school and high school admission regulations.
According to regulations, for grade 10 admission, localities can choose to conduct an entrance exam, a selection exam, or a combination. If there is an entrance exam, the exam includes Math, Literature, and a third subject (or a combined exam). This subject is selected by the Department of Education and Training from subjects assessed by scores, but no subject can be selected for more than three consecutive years.
According to initial statistics, all provinces that announced the third exam subject have chosen Foreign Language. This is also the exam subject that Nghe An education sector has implemented for many years now.
