Nghe An officially stops the Provincial Excellent Student Selection Exam for the 2019-2020 school year

Previously, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, on March 9, 2020, the Department of Education and Training issued Official Dispatch No. 388/SGD&DT-KTKĐCLGD on postponing the organization of the Provincial Excellent Student Selection Exam, school year 2019-2020.

However, up to this point, the Covid-19 epidemic has not ended, students have just returned to school, schools are gradually stabilizing order, focusing on teaching and completing the program... Therefore, based on a comprehensive review of the practical aspects of the exam organization, the Department of Education and Training decided not to organize the Provincial Excellent Student Selection Exam for grades 9 and 11 in the 2019-2020 school year.

In addition, to ensure the rights of 9th and 12th grade students, especially 12th grade students in the high school graduation exam and in admission to universities and colleges, starting from the 2020-2021 school year, the Department organizes an exam to select excellent provincial students in grades 9 and 12 every December.

On May 5, 2020, the Department of Quality Management - Ministry of Education and Training also decided not to organize the selection exam for the national team to participate in international and regional Olympic competitions in 2020.

This is also one of the exams with a large number of Nghe An students participating.
