At the conference, delegates from the Committee for the Advancement of Women at all levels said that over the past year, the integration of gender equality indicators into the province's socio-economic development plan has been given attention; the work of inspection, coordination, and self-inspection of gender equality and VSTBPN implementation has been strengthened and maintained regularly, contributing to promoting the better implementation of gender equality goals and indicators in the area.
Therefore, the rate of women participating in leadership and management and female representatives of elected bodies has been increasingly higher. Up to now, the whole province has 8 women participating in the Provincial Party Executive Committee; 03 women participating in the Provincial Party Standing Committee. At the district level, there are 02 female Deputy Secretaries, 33 female Standing Committee members, 146 female District Party Executive Committee members. There are 217 female Standing Committee members at the commune level, 1446 female Party Executive Committee members at the commune level.

The province currently has 57 Committees for the Advancement of Women under provincial-level departments and agencies; 21 Committees for the Advancement of Women in districts, cities and towns; and 480 Committees for the Advancement of Women at the commune level.
During the year, the VSTBPN Committee advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue many key documents suitable to the practical conditions of the province; training and information and propaganda work was promoted and regularly innovated; coordination in implementing policies and laws on gender equality between local departments and branches became increasingly close and effective, and people's awareness of gender equality and VSTBPN was increasingly multiplied.

The Standing Office of the Provincial Women's Union has coordinated with the Women's Union, the Women's Union of Vinh City, Nghi Loc and Quy Hop districts to organize forums and dialogues on policies to support women in starting and developing businesses; build "Women Entrepreneurs" and "Women Starting and Developing Businesses" clubs. From these efforts, many good business production models and women's start-up models have been born and achieved many outstanding results.

However, some sectors, localities and units are still not resolute in leading and directing the work of gender equality and VSTBPN; many committees of local units do not operate regularly and are still formal; the proportion of women participating in leadership and management is not commensurate with the capacity and development of the female force; gender-based violence still occurs in some places.
