Nghe An has 25 villages meeting new rural standards
(Baonghean.vn) - After 2 years of implementing the construction of new rural areas at the village and hamlet level, up to now, 25 villages in the province have been recognized by the People's Committees of districts as meeting new rural standards.

Mr. Nguyen The Thanh, head of Quyet Tien village, Chi Khe commune, Con Cuong district, excitedly said: After a period of joining hands and contributing money to build the new rural area, Quyet Tien village has now been recognized by the district People's Committee as a village that meets the new rural standards. Now, 100% of the roads in the village have been mostly concreted, making it easy for vehicles to travel; the power grid has been safely wired, ensuring the quality of electricity; the village cultural house has been built spaciously, with a sports field to meet the entertainment needs of the people.
Mr. Phan Van Dien - Deputy of the Standing Office coordinating the program of building new rural areas of Con Cuong district said: In 2017, Con Cuong had 3 villages and hamlets of 2 communes: Chi Khe and Luc Da registered to reach the new rural area, but only 1 village Quyet Tien, Chi Khe commune reached the finish line, the remaining 2 villages and hamlets continued to build to reach the finish line in 2018. The People's Committee of Con Cuong district has a reward mechanism for each village and hamlet reaching the new rural area with 30 million VND.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hang - Deputy Chief of the Office of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in the province, after 2 years of implementing the policy of building new rural areas in the province, localities have achieved many encouraging results. The awareness of ethnic minorities about building new rural areas has been raised, the appearance of villages in mountainous areas has increasingly improved.
25 villages and hamlets were recognized by the People's Committees of the districts as meeting the new rural standards, including: Bai So village, Huu Mo village, Nhung village of Tam Quang commune (Tuong Duong); Dua hamlet, Muong Noc commune; hamlet 2 of Que Son commune (Que Phong); Dong Tien hamlet, Ha Dong hamlet, Chau Cuong commune; Na Lan hamlet, Ban Pan of Chau Ly commune, Hung Long hamlet, Chau Thai commune, Cong hamlet, Yen Hop commune (Quy Hop); Na Luong 1 hamlet, Huu Kiem commune (Ky Son); Quyet Tien hamlet, Chi Khe commune (Con Cuong); Minh Tien, Hop Tien, Hong Tien 1, Hoa Tien 1 and Hoa Tien 2 hamlets of Chau Tien commune; Lau 2 hamlet, Chau Binh commune; Lam Hoi hamlet, Chau Hoi commune (Quy Chau); hamlets 8, 9, 10 and 11 of Phuc Son commune, hamlet 3 of Khai Son commune (Anh Son). |
