Nghe An has 26 ODA programs and projects with a total capital of 13,500 billion VND.

(Baonghean.vn) - As of November 15, 2017, the province is continuing to implement 26 ODA programs and projects with a total investment capital of 13,569 billion VND.

In the 11 months of 2017, in addition to continuing to implement transitional projects according to the committed schedule, especially accelerating the progress of key programs and projects such as: Vinh Urban Development Sub-project, Restoration of the Northern Irrigation System, Restoration of the flood-prone areas of Nghe An... The province is working with the Central Ministries and branches to continue to mobilize ODA Programs and projects in the province.

Some of these projects have been decided by the Prime Minister for investment, such as the Basic Infrastructure Project for Comprehensive Development of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri Provinces (ADB capital worth 54.14 million USD). This project will be implementedwithin 6 years from the approval of ADB from the Asian Development Fund (ADF) with a loan worth 97 million USD.

Other projects are continuing to complete procedures such as: Improving urban infrastructure of Hoang Mai (AFD France, 31.9 million Euro), Developing tourism infrastructure to support comprehensive growth of the Greater Mekong Subregion Phase II (ADB, 9.40 million USD); Investing in medical equipment for the Northwest Regional General Hospital using Korean ODA loans (13.22 million USD), Strengthening the provincial health system (German Government, 3.65 million Euro), ... expected to negotiate and sign agreements in 2018.

Some projects are still in progress and are expected to negotiate and sign agreements in 2017, such as: Basic infrastructure for comprehensive development of the provinces: Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Quang Tri (ADB); Improving urban infrastructure to minimize the impact of climate change in Hoang Mai town, Nghe An province (AFD)....
