Nghe An has 4 award-winning works at the North Central Art Photography Festival

(Baonghean.vn) – 4/11 award-winning photos in the Art Photography Festival of 6 North Central provinces were from Nghe An. The work that won the Gold Medal was “Saving the Whale” by Tran Canh Yen (Nghe An).

The regional art photography festival of 6 provinces of the North Central region was organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in collaboration with the Thanh Hoa Province Literature and Arts Association at the Exhibition - Fair - Advertising Center of Thanh Hoa City for 3 days from August 28-30, 2016.

At this festival, the Organizing Committee received 1,372 works from 191 authors. After online judging, 129 works were selected for exhibition, of which 11 excellent works won prizes.

The work “Saving the Whale” by author Tran Canh Yen (Nghe An) won the Gold Medal. In addition, there were 3 works by authors from Nghe An: “Tung Kieu” by Ho Xuan Thanh won the Bronze Medal, “Le Hoi Khac Luong” by Nguyen Quoc Hoang and “Mo Duong Ve Ban” by Tran Duy Ngoan won the Encouragement Prize.

It is known that at this Photo Festival, Nghe An and Thua Thien Hue are the two units with the largest number of photos selected for exhibition and once again Nghe An and Thua Thien Hue excellently won the team prize.
