Of the 969 students mentioned above, Nghe An province has 65 (35 in Group A, 24 in Group B, 5 in Group D1, and 1 in Group A1). The three students with the highest scores in each group are all students from Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School: Truong Dinh Duc, who took the Group B exam for Hanoi Medical University, scored 29 points; Nguyen Thanh Long, who took the Group A exam for Hanoi University of Pharmacy, scored 28.75 points (rounded to 29.00 points); and Dang Quang Huy, who took the Group D1 exam for Hanoi Foreign Trade University, scored 28.00 points.
The schools with students scoring 27 points or higher are: Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School (35 students); Quynh Luu 1 High School (6 students); Anh Son 1 High School (5 students); Phan Dang Luu High School (4 students); Huynh Thuc Khang High School (3 students); Hoang Mai High School, Yen Thanh 2 High School, Dien Chau 3 High School, Thanh Chuong 1 High School (2 students each); Do Luong 1 High School, Quynh Luu 4 High School, Le Hong Phong High School, Quy Hop 1 High School (1 student each).
Specifically, the Specialized High School affiliated with Vinh University has 12 students who scored 27 points or higher (9 in Group A, 1 in Group B, and 2 in Group D1), the majority of whom are from Nghe An province.
