This is a very important conference because 2015 was the first year the Ministry of Education and Training implemented the national high school graduation exam with two objectives: using the results for graduation purposes and for admission to universities and colleges. This year, Nghe An province had over 33,500 12th-grade students participating, of which 11,555 registered to take the national high school graduation exam solely for graduation purposes. In addition, there were nearly 10,000 candidates from Ha Tinh province.

To ensure thorough preparation for the exam, at the conference, representatives from the Nghe An Department of Education and Training announced several new points in the 2015 National High School Graduation Examination Regulations; reported on some new points in the 2015 Regulations for University and College Admissions for the regular program; and presented the results of the implementation of preparatory steps for the 2015 National High School Graduation Examination by the Department of Education and Training.

The conference also requested that schools pay attention to five issues in organizing exams and admissions in Nghe An. These include: registering to purchase application forms and materials for admissions; advising and guiding students on exam and admission registration; receiving applications; submitting applications and data to the Department; and receiving certificates of National High School Examination results. Delegates offered many suggestions, requesting the Department of Education and Training to clarify several issues regarding updating the exam management software, sending exam results data, and the process of receiving applications.

To prepare for this year's exam, from March 27th to April 7th, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with Vinh University and the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, organized admissions counseling for students in six districts: Thanh Chuong, Anh Son, Quy Hop, Quynh Luu, Thai Hoa, and Yen Thanh. This was done to guide candidates in choosing universities, majors, and admission processes. In addition, all necessary documents were promptly submitted to students for exam registration before April 30th.

Review sessions are regularly supervised to ensure adherence to the curriculum, and remedial classes are organized for average and weak students. Coordination with all levels and sectors is necessary to develop specific plans and measures to prepare comprehensively for a safe, serious, fair, and compliant examination, ensuring the best possible conditions for candidates during the process.
