According to information from the North Central Hydrometeorological Station, at 01:00 (July 15), the center of the tropical depression was located at about 17.9 degrees North latitude; 118.8 degrees East longitude, in the sea area east of the North East Sea. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression was level 7 (50-61km/h), gusting to level 9.
