(Baonghean.vn) - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De has just signed a decision to recognize 4 more communes meeting new rural standards and 6 communes meeting advanced new rural standards.
The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 616/QD-UBND on recognizing 4 communes meeting new rural standards and Decision No. 617/QD-UBND on recognizing 6 communes meeting advanced new rural standards.
4 communes have just reached the finish linenew ruralincluding: Thanh Duc, Thanh Thinh, Thanh Khe and Thanh Tung of Thanh Chuong district.
6 communes have met the advanced new rural standards, including: Hung Thong commune (Hung Nguyen); Hung Nam, Xuan Hoa (Nam Dan); Thanh Tien (Thanh Chuong); Quynh Lien (Hoang Mai town) and Nghi Phu commune (Vinh city).
According to the decisions, the Provincial People's Committee rewards each commune that meets the new rural standards with a welfare project worth 500 million VND and rewards each commune that meets the advanced new rural standards with a welfare project worth 600 million VND.
Thus, after nearly 13 years of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, up to now, Nghe An has had 317 communes meeting new rural standards, 67 communes meeting advanced new rural standards and 10 communes meeting model new rural standards.
