Nghe An has two more National Highways 7B and 48E.
(Baonghean.vn) - According to Decision No. 1084/QD-BGTVT dated April 8, 2016 of the Minister of Transport, Provincial Road 538 connecting National Highway 7 with National Highway 46B becomes National Highway 7B, assigned to the Vietnam Road Administration for management, exploitation and preservation.
Specifically: Starting point Km0+00 at Dien Ky commune, Dien Chau district (Km420+820/QL.1); ending point Thanh Dong commune, Thanh Chuong district (Km45+200/QL.46B). The total length of National Highway 7B is 44.9 km (not including the section overlapping National Highway 7).
Also according to Decision No. 1085/QD-BGTVT of the Minister of Transport, some sections of provincial roads 537B, 531, 545; 534 were converted into National Highway 48E.

Starting point Km0+00 at Lach Con port, Quynh Phuong commune, Hoang Mai town; ending point Nghi Thach commune, Nghi Loc district (Km4 + 900/QL.46); the total length of this route is 213.35km (not including the sections overlapping with QL.1, Vinh city bypass, QL.15, QL.48D, QL.48).
The above Decisions clearly state: The Ministry of Transport assigns the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam to delegate the management, operation and maintenance to the Nghe An Department of Transport according to regulations. The People's Committee of Nghe An province directs local authorities to work with the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam and relevant agencies to receive the handover, resolve related issues, ensure the management and operation work is carried out continuously and does not affect traffic on the route.
