In 2018, Nghe An province established many interdisciplinary inspection teams, directed functional departments, branches and sectors to strengthen inspection and examination of the implementation of regulations on occupational safety and health laws, and handle violations by organizations and individuals.

As a result, after inspecting more than 200 enterprises, the interdisciplinary inspection team between the Department of Natural Resources and Environment - Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; the interdisciplinary inspection team of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs - Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Provincial Labor Federation discovered 39 violating units and imposed fines totaling more than 400 million VND.
In addition, the Fire Police also inspected more than 6,578 establishments and vehicles, issued 406 administrative penalty records, and paid the State Budget 1,248 billion VND.
Through synthesis, the administrative violations of occupational safety and health of enterprises and organizations are mainly: Employers do not have occupational safety and health training certificates; do not organize training or do not provide adequate training on occupational safety and health for employees; do not conduct periodic health check-ups or do not conduct health check-ups for enough employees in the enterprise; do not declare usage; do not conduct initial inspections or periodic inspections of machines and equipment with strict occupational safety requirements; do not monitor the working environment; do not provide adequate protective equipment for employees; violate occupational safety regulations and procedures.
In 2018, Nghe An had 26 work accidents that killed 7 people at units belonging to: Vinh Railway Signal Information Joint Stock Company, Song Lam Paper Joint Stock Company and International Clean Vegetable and Fruit Production and Supply Joint Stock Company...
