Nghe An announces teaching plan at 4 levels
(Baonghean.vn) - This is the latest guidance from the Nghe An Department of Education and Training on organizing teaching and learning activities in the area to ensure safe and flexible adaptation and effective control of the Covid-19 epidemic.
This afternoon (October 27),Department of Education and TrainingNghe An has just issued a document guiding the organization of teaching and learning to the Departments of Education and Training, units under the Department, Vocational Education and Continuing Education Centers and Centers for Foreign Languages, Information Technology, and Life Skills, requesting units to deploy measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.
In the instructions, the Department recommends that localities base on classifying the epidemic level according to each locality to advise the Steering Committee for epidemic prevention and control at district, city and town levels to decide on organizing activities.teachAreas that control the epidemic will proactively allow students to return to school.

Specifically,for areas identified as level 1 and level 2(low risk and medium risk): organize direct teaching; strengthen information technology infrastructure, equipment, and facilities to be ready to switch to online teaching and other forms suitable to the locality and the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic.
For areas identified as having level 3 epidemics(high risk): Organize direct teaching (for schools that ensure the 3 on-site conditions: eating, staying, teaching and learning in a centralized manner) combined with online teaching, assigning self-study lessons... In addition, based on actual conditions, educational institutions advise the Steering Committee for epidemic prevention and control of districts, cities and towns to decide on appropriate teaching plans for each class and grade level. In particular, for general education, priority is given to direct teaching of grades 1, 2, 6, 9 and 12, ensuring appropriate distancing according to the conditions of facilities and safety conditions in epidemic prevention and control.
For areas identified as level 4(very high risk): Based on the actual situation and progress of the school year implementation in the locality, organize online teaching and learning, assign self-study lessons... for preschool and general education levels. In addition, coordinate with parents to guide students to effectively and safely use online learning devices according to the instructions of the Department of Education and Training and have a plan to transfer learning materials to students who lack online learning devices.

Previously, on October 21, the Provincial People's Committee also issued Notice No. 595/TB-UBND on the Covid-19 epidemic level in Nghe An province. Currently, in the whole province, 18/21 districts and towns are at level 1 of the Covid-19 epidemic; 3 localities, Vinh city, Hung Nguyen district and Nam Dan district, are at level 2.
At the commune level, 452/460 communes, wards and towns are at level 1 of the Covid-19 epidemic. Level 2 includes the following wards and communes: Trung Do, Ha Huy Tap, Vinh Tan, Ben Thuy, Hung Binh (Vinh city); Chau Nhan commune (Hung Nguyen district); Kim Lien commune (Nam Dan district). Level 3 includes Hung Loc commune (Vinh city).
In the whole province, only Vinh city and Cua Lo town are still teaching online.
