Previously, based on the proposal of 6 prisoners who met the criteria for special amnesty on the occasion of National Day, September 2 this year, the Provincial Police Detention Center combined the number of prisoners who were considered for sentence reduction and prisoners who were about to finish their sentences in August and September 2022 to organize a community reintegration class for prisoners. The program focuses on moral education, law and life skills...
The annual amnesty on September 2nd is a major policy, affirming the lenient policy of the Party and State towards criminals who are being sentenced to prison. Thereby, encouraging them to actively study, work, and reform to enjoy amnesty, striving to become useful people in society. For other cases of prisoners, although they do not meet the criteria to be proposed for amnesty this time, they have better understood the lenient and humane policy of the Party and State, therefore, they will be assured to reform, strive, and train to soon enjoy leniency in the next amnesty periods.
