Nghe An: Announcement of Decision on transfer and appointment of Director of Department of Natural Resources and Environment

On the morning of March 12, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Nghe An held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman on the transfer and appointment of the Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Ngoc Kim Nam - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Nam Dinh - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies; Phan Duc Dong - Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee and comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

On March 11, 2021, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung signed Decision No. 586/QD-UBND on the transfer and appointment for a term of 5 years for comrade Hoang Quoc Viet - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Tan Ky District People's Committee to hold the position of Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

Presenting the decision and flowers to the new Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulated comrade Hoang Quoc Viet on being trusted, appointed to the position of Director of the Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also presented flowers and congratulated Comrade Vo Duy Viet - former Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment for successfully completing the assigned tasks and retiring according to the State's regime.

Emphasizing that natural resources and environment are important and sensitive fields that directly affect the lives of people and businesses, in conditions where the law still has many shortcomings, limitations, and lacks uniformity, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung shared with the department's leaders about the difficulties in state management.

Not only in Nghe An but also in many localities across the country, land management, mineral management, and environmental protection are very complicated. Many complicated and prolonged cases basically exist in this field.

However, in the past time, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment has basically performed well its assigned functions and tasks, advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to perform management tasks in all aspects of work.

In that result, there is the role of comrade Vo Duy Viet - former Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the spirit, responsibility and thanked comrade Vo Duy Viet for his contributions during the 10 years he held the role of Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assessed that Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet is a young cadre, well-trained and has worked in many positions at the department, branch and local levels. During his working process, he has been evaluated and recognized by all levels and especially by the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee.

In his new position, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet will continue to promote his professional capacity and work experience, together with the collective of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Natural Resources and Environment sector to continue to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

At the same time, he requested that comrade Hoang Quoc Viet immediately approach the work, without interruption, and together with the department carry out the tasks, especially consulting work on land management, mineral management, and environmental protection.

The new Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment also needs to focus on administrative reform, pay attention to raising awareness and responsibility of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the whole industry. Because this is an issue that the provincial leaders are particularly concerned about, because this task in the past of the province still has many limitations, especially the criteria for accessing land procedures.

Speaking on accepting the assignment, comrade Hoang Quoc Viet - Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment thanked the comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee for their attention, trust and confidence in him.
