Nghe An recognizes 10 more communes meeting advanced new rural standards

Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision 1067/QD-UBND on recognizing communes meeting advanced new rural standards.
Accordingly, 10 communes were recognized, including: Quynh Thach, Quynh Van, Quynh Minh (Quynh Luu); Nam Xuan, Nam Thanh, Nam Kim, Xuan Lam (Nam Dan), Thanh Lien, Thanh Phong (Thanh Chuong) and Phuc Tho (Nghi Loc).
The 10 communes that have just been recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards are localities with many positive results in the process of implementing the National Advanced New Rural Criteria.

In these communes, the rural appearance is spacious, green, clean and beautiful; infrastructure is invested in upgrading and building; agricultural production has developed remarkably with many production models, linkage models, and application of scientific and technological advances, bringing economic efficiency and high income to the people.
Typically, in Phuc Tho commune (Nghi Loc), the average income per capita in 2022 will reach 65.5 million VND/year; Nam Nghia commune (Nam Dan) will reach approximately 64 million VND/person/year; Quynh Minh commune (Quynh Luu) will reach approximately 59 million VND/person/year...; The number of poor households has decreased significantly, such as: Nam Kim commune now has only 0.8%, Thanh Phong commune now has only 1.09%, the remaining communes basically have a poverty rate of less than 3%.

The material and spiritual life of the people has been gradually improved; in particular, the construction of new rural areas has been enthusiastically responded to and actively participated in by the majority of people and has become a vibrant, strong and widespread mass movement.
According to the Decision, each commune recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards will be awarded a welfare project worth 600 million VND.
At the same time, the Decision also clearly stated that the steering committee of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, the above districts and communes are responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of the achieved criteria; striving to achieve the criteria of a model new rural commune according to the motto "Building new rural areas has a starting point but no ending point".

Thus, up to this point, the whole province has 53 advanced new rural communes.
