Nghe An recognizes 8 more communes meeting new rural and advanced new rural standards
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has appraised and recognized 1 more commune meeting new rural standards and 7 advanced new rural communes in 2023 - 2024.
On the afternoon of August 21, under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting of the Council for Appraisal, Review and Recognition of Communes that have met new rural standards to discuss and vote on the consideration and recognition of new rural communes and advanced new rural communes for 8 communes in Que Phong and Nghi Loc districts.

Accordingly, in this round, 1 commune meeting new rural standards, Muong Noc (Que Phong), 7 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, including Nghi Lam, Nghi Thach, Nghi Van, Nghi Hoa, Nghi Truong, Nghi Thinh and Nghi Thai (Nghi Loc).

According to the report of the People's Committees of the communes, the inspection of the People's Committees of Que Phong and Nghi Loc districts and the appraisal results of the Department of Planning and Investment for the 8 communes, there are no outstanding debts for basic construction in the construction of new rural areas and advanced new rural areas.
After members of the New Rural Appraisal Council contributed opinions and discussed, they voted to agree that Muong Noc commune (Que Phong) would meet the new rural standards in 2023 and 7 communes of Nghi Loc district would meet the advanced new rural standards in 2024.

Comrade Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the districts to focus on leading, directing and guiding communes to implement the criteria and complete related documents.
Prioritize the allocation of resources, focusing on completing unfinished key projects, and absolutely not allowing outstanding debts to arise in new rural construction at district and commune levels.
Communes continue to improve the achieved criteria in a synchronous, sustainable and comprehensive manner. Complete the evidence documents related to the results of building new rural areas and advanced new rural areas. Implement the roadmap for unsustainable criteria according to the commitments and recommendations of the members of the Provincial Appraisal Team raised during the appraisal process.
Localities consider new rural construction a regular and continuous task; focus on prioritizing economic development to improve the material and spiritual life of farmers; limit excessive mobilization of people.
Thus, up to this point, Nghe An has had 320 communes meeting new rural standards, of which 101 communes have met advanced new rural standards and 16 communes have met model new rural standards./.
