Nghe An: Rescue 7 fishermen and fishing boat in distress at sea
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 8, Squadron 2, Nghe An Border Guard successfully rescued 7 crew members and is towing the distressed fishing boat to shore.
Previously, on April 7, while fishing in the area with coordinates 18054'N, 106044'E (about 60 nautical miles from shore), ship NA 95039 TS captained by Mr. Le Van Hoa (born in 1986, residing in Son Hai commune, Quynh Luu district) with 7 crew members on board had engine failure, could not be repaired, and had to drift at sea.

At this time, the weather conditions turned bad due to the influence of the Northeast monsoon. Faced with the dangerous situation, the captain sent out an urgent distress signal.
Upon receiving the information, at 9:00 p.m. on April 7, the Nghe An Border Guard Command dispatched ship CN09 of Squadron 2 to rescue the fishing boat with 7 crew members.
After 8 hours of traveling in the dark, at 5am on April 8, the rescue ship approached the fishing boat in distress, provided health care to the fishermen and organized a tow to bring the boat back to shore.

It is expected that on the afternoon of April 8, the rescue ship will tow and bring the fishermen to Lach Quen port, Quynh Luu district./.
