Nghe An: 2/12 units have merged Vocational Training Center and Continuing Education Center
(Baonghean.vn) - The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the establishment of the Tan Ky District Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center on the basis of merging the Tan Ky Vocational Training Center and the Tan Ky District Continuing Education Center.
Accordingly, the merger aims to overcome the limitations of the type of center when operating separately, creating a strong and effective change in the reasonable utilization of facilities, equipment, and teaching staff of the centers in the field of vocational training as well as continuing education.
The merger also aims to maintain stability and continue to develop the scale of vocational training for workers, in accordance with the transformation of the labor industry structure of each locality.

Previously, Tan Ky District Continuing Education Center had a staff of 10 people, training only about 165 students in the Continuing Education system and some joint training classes each year.

After the merger, Tan Ky District Vocational Education Center - Continuing Education is a district-level public service unit with legal status, its own seal and account.
According to the plan, before October 15, Tan Ky district will complete the process of personnel work and before October 30, the transfer of facilities and equipment will be completed. The new unit will have 1 director and no more than 2 deputy directors.
The policy of merging vocational training centers and continuing education centers is implemented according to Joint Circular No. 39/2015/TTLT-BLDTBXH-BGDĐT-BNV and Document No. 4156/UBND-TH of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee. Up to this point, the whole province has 2/12 localities that have merged centers, namely Tan Ky and Quy Chau. |
