Nghe An: 88,285 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19

Pharmacist Tran Minh Tue - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Health informed: Up to this point,Nghe An88,285 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19, of which over 22,000 have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. The Covid-19 vaccination in Nghe An is safe and ensures the right subjects are vaccinated.

Implementing the National Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign 2021 - 2022, the Provincial People's CommitteeNghe AnThe Steering Committee has been established, a vaccination plan has been issued, and relevant subcommittees have been established. The health sector has also organized training for all medical facilities in the province on Covid-19 vaccination.

It is expected that the Ministry of Health will allocate 4.3 million doses of vaccine to Nghe An from now until the end of 2021. That means that 2.15 million people in Nghe An will complete Covid-19 vaccination this year. Since the vaccination target is people over 18 years old, 2.15 million people, equivalent to more than 92% of the population of Nghe An province, will be vaccinated.

Currently, due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic in the southern provinces, the Ministry of Health is focusing on allocating a large amount of Covid-19 vaccines to this area.

However, Nghe An, with its high risk of spreading Covid-19, has also been given certain priority. Next week, Nghe An is expected to receive 36,960 doses of Moderna vaccine and 56,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine. The province will continue to vaccinate according to plan.
