Nghe An: Rear-end collision with truck stopped on the side of the road, tractor trailer's front end crushed
(Baonghean.vn) - While traveling on the road, a cement tractor-trailer crashed into a truck that was stopped in front. The accident caused the front of the tractor-trailer to be crushed.
The accident occurred at around 4:00 a.m. on October 2 on National Highway 1A, passing through Dien Thinh commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province.

According to initial information, at the above time, the truck with license plate 29Y - 1420 was traveling in the North - South direction. When it reached Hamlet 15, Dien Thinh Commune, the driver of this truck stopped on the side of the road to go to the toilet. At that moment, the tractor with license plate 29H - 052.16 carrying a lot of cement running behind suddenly crashed into the back of the truck.

The strong impact caused the truck to smash through a milestone and a roadside sign, denting the rear of the truck; the front of the tractor trailer was severely damaged, and many bags of cement were spilled onto the road. Fortunately, there were no casualties after the accident.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
