According to people present at the scene of the accident, at the time, Ms. Dang Thi Huyen (31 years old, resident of Ha Huy Tap ward) was pushing a garbage cart to clean the street on National Highway 1A passing through Vinh city.
While pushing the cart, Ms. Huyen was suddenly hit from behind by a 4-seat car with license plate 37A - 597.98 driven by a man.

The impact was so strong that it threw Ms. Huyen onto the windshield. The car pushed Ms. Huyen about 30 meters before stopping.
