Nghe An spends 1,700 billion VND to start 41 new projects in 2023
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to urge and remind departments, branches, localities and units to proactively complete investment procedures and hold early groundbreaking ceremonies, in early December, the Provincial People's Committee approved a list of new projects to start construction, and plans to arrange public investment plans for 2023.
Specifically, in Document No. 9573/UBND-KT/2022, the Provincial People's Committee approved a list of 41 projects, with a total investment of 1,700.5 billion VND. Of the 41 projects above, 5 projects are from the central budget with a total investment of 434 billion VND and the provincial budget is 1,266.5 billion VND.

The Central Budget implements 5 projects including: Renovation and upgradingtraffic route connecting National Highway 1A to National Highway 7AThe section passing through Dien An, Dien Loc, Dien Phu, Dien Loi and Minh Chau communes (Dien Chau), with a total investment of 100 billion VND; traffic road serving national defense and border security, the section connecting fromMuong Xen - Ta Do - Khe Kien90 billion VND to patrol the border of Ky Son district.

Project of Compulsory Drug Rehabilitation Center No. III of the province, 70 billion VND; renovation,Upgrading Rao Truong canalThe section through Nghi Trung, Nghi Truong, Nghi Thinh, Nghi Long and Nghi Xa communes (Nghi Loc) costs 80 billion VND; renovating and upgrading reservoirs, irrigation canals and large-field production infrastructure, linking rice seed production in Yen Thanh district costs 94 billion VND.

The provincial budget invested in 36 projects, with a total investment of 1,266.5 billion VND. Among the projects invested by the province, the project with the smallest total investment is 6.5 billion VND, the largest is 125 billion VND/project, mainly supporting capital for the construction of office buildings, bridges, canals, ditches, reservoirs... in the districts, cities and towns.
After approving the list and total investment, the province plans to immediately allocate 474.2 billion VND in 2023, of which the central budget will allocate 130 billion VND and the provincial budget will allocate 343.6 billion VND to start construction, then based on the progress, capital will be allocated for further disbursement./.
