Nghe An: List of 165 investment projects revoked due to slow implementation

On May 15, 2019, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1681 to establish an interdisciplinary team, divided into 3 inspection rounds and conducted inspections of 78 non-budget investment projects (including 2 additional projects).

Thereby, the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team reported and recommended the Provincial People's Committee to terminate the project and revoke the granted Investment Registration Certificate for the Project of High-tech Medicinal Essential Oil and Functional Food Factory in Thanh Thuy Commune, Thanh Chuong District, invested by VN Nam Dan Van An Company Limited.

Revoking investment license for the project of planting raw material forests and rubber trees in Quy Hop, Quy Chau without implementation (since 2012).

Regarding the project to build a wholesale market in the border area and a general business area in Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district, invested by Tan Long Joint Stock Company: The interdisciplinary inspection team inspected and requested the self-dismantling of self-built works outside the scope of the project, and the self-dismantling of construction works that are not in accordance with the planning approved by competent authorities.

The report of the Provincial People's Committee shows that: In 2019, the Provincial People's Committee terminated the operation of 16 projects, bringing the total number of revoked projects to date to 165 projects, accounting for 36.5% of the number of inspected projects (from 2012 to 2019, 578 projects were inspected).

The Provincial People's Committee is currently directing a comprehensive inspection of a number of projects such as: Truong Son Residential Cluster in Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City, Hotel Complex Project, Pharmacy, Medical and Housing Supermarket in Nghi Phu Commune, Vinh City, Vinh Thanh Concrete Project in Hung Dong Commune, Vinh City, Van Market Construction Investment Project in Quynh Luu.
