Nghe An won 1 Gold Medal and 3 Silver Medals at the National Folk Song and Instrumental Festival
(Baonghean.vn) - The 2021 National Folk Song and Orchestra Festival took place on the evening of December 26 in Da Lat city. Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center won the Silver Medal for the entire group; 1 Gold Medal for one performance, and 2 Silver Medals for two performances.
The 2021 National Folk Song and Instrument Festival, organized by the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), was planned since November. Due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Festival was not held in person. The Organizing Committee allowed the units to record and film the competition program themselves and send it by post.
The festival attracted the participation of over 600 actors, artisans, and artists from Cultural Centers, Cultural - Cinema Centers, and Cultural and Art Centers of 23 provinces and cities across the country.

With the theme"Love in verse and folk song",The program participating in the Festival of Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center includes 4 performances imbued with Nghe Tinh folk songs: Performance "Homeland Festival", Xam singing "The shore in the mother's lullaby", Nghe Tinh folk song duet "O hang ban ru" and Performance "Love of the countryside in conical hat la". The performances praise the historical and cultural traditions of the homeland and country.

The 2021 National Folk Song and Singing Festival was held on the night of December 26 in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province. Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center won 1 Gold Medal for the Xam singing performance "The Realm in Mother's Lullaby", 2 Silver Medals for the performances: Nghe Tinh folk song duet "O hang ban ru" and performance "Love of the Countryside in Non La". The Center also received a Silver Medal for the entire group.
