Nghe An province has achieved an average of 16.83 new rural development criteria per commune.
(Baonghean.vn) - To date, Nghe An province has 299 communes that have met all 19 criteria, with no communes falling below 7 criteria. The average number of criteria met per commune across the province has increased to 16.83.

The National Target Program for Building New Rural Areas in the first months of 2022 was implemented decisively by all levels, sectors, and localities, continuing to create strong transformations and change the face of rural areas, and is identified as a key program for the 2021-2025 period.
The latest report from the Provincial Office for Coordinating the National Target Program on Building New Rural Areas shows that, from the beginning of the year until now...Nghe AnOver 8.5 trillion VND has been mobilized for investment in new rural construction. Of this, the largest amount, over 6.1 trillion VND, comes from credit, with the remainder from the state budget, businesses, and people's contributions.
From that funding, localities invest in implementing the criteria for new rural areas. Therefore, on average, the criteria...new rural areasThe number of criteria met across the province has improved: 299 communes have met all 19 criteria, accounting for 72.74%; 18 communes have met 15 to 18 criteria, accounting for 4.62%; 50 communes have met 10 to 14 criteria, accounting for 12.17%; 44 communes have met 5 to 9 criteria, accounting for 10.7%; and there are no communes with fewer than 7 criteria. The average number of criteria met per commune in the province is 16.83 (an increase of 0.03 criteria per commune compared to the end of 2021).

Notably, the province constructed an additional 410 km of roads in the first seven months of the year.rural roadsThis brings the total length of roads built and upgraded in the province to 10,887.4 km, with a total cost of over 13 trillion VND. Currently, the Department of Finance is continuing to accelerate the bidding process and is expected to supply cement to localities by the end of the third quarter of 2022 to continue building new rural concrete roads.
